General Information and Services:
Board Games: There are board games available in our Library free of charge.
Cars and Parking: All cars must be registered with the Front Desk. Each unit is allowed two vehicles.
Please remember to lock your unit and cars and do not leave any money or valuables unattended.
Check in Time: Check-in time is 4 p.m.
Check-out Time: Check-out time is 10 a.m. to ensure proper cleaning of the unit before the next guest
arrives. A $100 fee will apply for late departures (after 10:30 a.m.)
Credit Cards Accepted: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.
Day Guests: There is a $25 charge for day guests, please check with the Front Desk for information.
Fitness Facility: The fitness facility is located in the Indoor/Outdoor Pool complex.
Heating and Air Conditioning: Each unit has its own controls and can be adjusted to suit your comfort. Please keep the doors and windows closed when you have the heat or air conditioning on. When you leave your unit please be sure to turn off all appliances and lights.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping is not included during your stay at the Lodges. If you would like to request the service please call the front desk at least 24 hours in advance. The rates and services are available upon request at the front desk.
Information Center: Please visit our Information Center located in the office building for area maps and brochures.
Internet Access: Wireless internet access is available throughout the resort. The Wi-Fi password for your unit is listed on the great room phone. There is also a Wi-Fi network all around property so you can access the internet while away from your lodge. The front desk staff can help you with the password.
Jacuzzi Tubs: If your lodge has a Jacuzzi tub, please refer to the directions near the tub. The bubbles/blower will not engage until the water levels have passed the silver tabs in the tub.
Kayaks and Paddleboards: Kayaks and paddleboards are available to sign out seasonally. Please inquire at the front desk for details.
Lost and Found: Please call ext. 0 if you are missing an item. The Lodges at Cresthaven is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Mail, Packages, Faxes and Copies: Outgoing mail may be dropped off at the front desk. If you are anticipating a package delivery during your stay please notify the front desk. There is a $.50 per page charge for all incoming and outgoing faxes and a $.10 per page charge for copies.
Maintenance: If something in your unit requires maintenance please contact the front desk by dialing 0. Maintenance hours are the same as the Office hours.
Massage Therapy: If you are interested in making an appointment for in-room message therapy please contact the front desk for pricing and information.
Newspapers: Local and National Newspapers are available at Ray’s Hellova Deli, located just a short walk north of the Lodges on Rt. 9N.
Outdoor Games: Badminton, Basketball, Bocce Ball, Frisbee, Horseshoes, Pickle-ball, Shuffleboard, Street Hockey, Dodge ball and Volleyball all located at our sports court. Supplies are kept in storage bins near each recreational area.
Library at Cresthaven: Visit our library filled with great books for adults and children located in our Oak Tree Lodge building.
Game Room: Our game room has DVDS, board games, poker, ping pong table, tv, and library! Located in our Oak Tree Lodge building.
Pets: Sorry, pets are not allowed on resort property. A minimum $500 fee will be applied to anyone that brings a pet into their lodge.
Slips: Dock slips for boats & jet skis must be reserved in advance through the front office. Charges apply, please call ext 0 for details.
Smoking: All lodges are non-smoking. There is a $500 charge if you smoke in the lodge. You may smoke in the designated area by the lake, south of The Boathouse. Please help us achieve a smoke free resort.
Soaps & Garbage Bags: If you need additional soap, detergent, garbage bags or toilet paper, you may pick them up at the front office.
Swimming Pool and Grotto: The swimming pool and grotto are open seasonally from April-end of October. Pool hours are located in your check-in packet that you receive upon arrival. Please be sure to exercise caution when using the swimming facilities at the resort and be respectful to others. For safety rules please refer to the Beach and Pool safety pages in this directory. The grotto is for adult use only. Only people 18 and over are allowed in the grotto area.

Room to Room calls: All extensions are 3 digits: 3 plus 2 digit room number (Ex. Lodge 1= 301, Lodge 20= 320). Hotel room units are 2 plus the 2 digit room number (Ex. Lodge 52A=252).
To make local and long distance calls you must have a calling card (available for purchase at the office) You may dial toll free numbers, dial 9 then the number (ex. 91-800-000-000)

Trash and Recycling: There are green trash receptacles on the property located behind lodges 1, 8, 16, 22 & in front of the six-plex. Lodges 45-48 have trash receptacles located outside of the garage. Single Stream Recycling Containers are available in the parking lot just south of Lodge 41-44.
Wrist Bands must be worn at all times, when on property (summer months only). There will be a fee for replacement wrist bands. Please see Front Office.
The Lodges at Cresthaven Swimming Pool and Grotto Safety & Rules:
The swimming pool at The Lodges at Cresthaven is not supervised by a lifeguard. Because we do not have on-site supervision we have established safeguards to be followed by all guests. For your safety, please read and follow the rules outlined below. Please ask if you have questions.
Pool & Grotto Area open daily in Summer Months
• Never Swim Alone. A minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older must be present whenever the facility is in use.
• There is no substitute for adequate supervision. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• In an Emergency, Notify the Front Desk and contact help immediately! You may dial 9-911 for Emergency Service from any phone. Additional numbers for the closest medical facility are posted.
• For your safety, Please DO NOT consume alcohol while swimming. Glass is not allowed in the pool or grotto area.
• The grotto is for adult use only. Only people 18 and over are allowed in the grotto area.
You may dial 9-911 from The Boathouse Restaurant. Additional emergency numbers are posted.
Your safety is important to us! IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FRONT DESK AND CONTACT HELP IMMEDIATELY.
Injuries are preventable and safety is everyone’s responsibility. If you notice any problems with water quality or the absence of safety equipment, please notify us at once!
The Lodges at Cresthaven Beach Facilities:
The Beach Facilities at The Lodges at Cresthaven are NOT supervised by a lifeguard. Because we do not have on-site supervision, our facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests. For your safety we require you to follow these rules. Please read the required safety rules outlined below. If you have any questions PLEASE ASK!!
Beach Area: Seasonal
• NEVER SWIM ALONE!! A minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use.
• No motorized vehicles allowed. Except for emergency and maintenance vehicles.
• No Boating, waterskiing, or use of personal watercrafts permitted in the designated swimming areas.
• Swimming at night or during a thunderstorm is NOT permitted.
• Please do not use any glass containers on the beach
• Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
The Lodges at Cresthaven Beach & Pool Etiquette:
We ask that you do not place towels on chairs at the beach or pool to “hold” your spot if you do not plan to use the chairs within a half hour.
The same applies to the umbrellas at the beach. After a half hour, towels may be removed by other guests if needed.
Please be considerate of other guests at the resort!
Beach & Pool Towels:
Please do not use the lodge spa towels at the beach or pool. If you forget your towels we have them available for purchase at our store located above the indoor pool. Guests will be billed for damaged or missing towels after departure. Thank you for your cooperation in these matters!

Area Hikes:
Buck Mountain and Pilot Knob
Located on the east side of the lake this hike is for the intermediate/ expert hikers (approximately 3.2 miles to the top). Experience breath-taking views of beautiful Lake George. 25 mins away.
Prospect Mountain
Come see the highest peek in Warren County. Only a short drive from the Lodges, Prospect Mountain has trails for everyone from the beginner to the expert hikers (3-4 miles to the top). On a clear day enjoy a 100 mile view. 5 mins away.
Sleeping Beauty
A great hike for the entire family. The overlook atop the cliffs offers a wide vista. The mountains of Vermont rise beyond the outline of the Champlain Valley to the east. 20 minutes away.
Hackensack Mountain:
Located in Warrensburg off of exit 23. This mountain offers three trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Easy, family friendly hike. 3.5 miles round trip. 15 minutes away.
Rush Pond Trails:
Trailhead located on Farr Lane, Queensbury or West Mountain Road and Gurney Lane intersection. Trail crosses three hand constructed bridges and offers scenic views of wetlands and stream life. Suitable for mountain bikes, snowshoes, cross-country skiing. This trail is 2.2 miles one way and is considered easy. 10 minutes away.
Pilot Knob Reserve:
This 2 mile loop offers panoramic views of southern Lake George basin. Gazebo at .5 mile on orange trail; continue on blue trail to waterfall. This hike is moderately easy. 20 minutes away.
Cat Mountain:
Most Lake George hiking trails offer views of small segments of the lake and its surroundings. The Cat Mountain hike lets you see nearly the entire lake, many mountains on its western and eastern shores and distant mountains to the south & east. The route is generally moderate, with a few challenging spots. 20 minutes away.
